Incredible 30 Wats Between Nong Khai and Tha Bo

The road between Nong Khai and Tha Bo is approximately 30 klms, and with Wats on average of about 1 klm apart this makes for a great road for Novices to find their "Pilgrim feet".

The young boys can be seen early in the morning starting their journey to the next Wat in small groups of 4-5, sometimes just 2. Passing regular traffic can be seen leaving packs of water for the novices as they make their way, or any other traveller for that matter.

Some of the Wats in this video range from the long established to the newly built and some in various stages of repair or rebuild. There are also a few with which I have taken the liberty of including more than one shot of , to give a different view or highlight detail. I hope you enjoy!
